The Great Escape

A weekend escape to a cabin on the water was exactly what we needed in the midst of our crazy schedule. We were invited to go with some friends to their grandparents cabin...and had a wonderful relaxing weekend.

4th of July

The 4th of July marked a trip to Seattle to visit Auntie Kathleen and Uncle Richard. We had a great relaxing time.

The Graduate

In June we traveled to Wisconsin to watch my baby sister graduate from high school. We are so proud of her accomplishments! We pray for God's guidance and blessings for her future.

A New Job You Say!?

My last job lasted a year and a half...when it was nearing the end things got tough and I was really ready to move on. God blessed me tremendously with a job at Maid Naturally, where I started at the beginning of March. (http://maidnaturally.com/)

When I tell people that I traded my bank job to be a maid they often look at me funny. But the truth is that I LOVE my job! The satisfaction that I get from cleaning may seem strange, but strange I am!

I clean homes and work in the office ~ it keeps me really busy!

A lump in the bed turned out to be...a hairless cat!!!

Filet Mignon we got in the clearance section of our grocery store. Yummy, cheap dinner!

Mama Came to Visit

For Easter weekend, Mama de Jongh came to visit. We went for a flight, cooked a delicious Easter dinner and great conversations.

My photo
I am a woman of God on a journey. A wife to a wonderful husband. I love baking and cooking and just being crafty. My husband is going through flight school and I am working full time. My hearts desire is to stay at home and make money, have children and just be able to be free from my dreaded job. My mind is so full and cluttered when I go to bed at night that I needed a way to get it all out...
